Hi Gina, I can't wait for 'Great Expectations', starting tomorrow night and 'Edwin Drood' in the New Year - 'Drood' is probably my favourite so I'm excited at it finally getting a major TV adaptation.

I wondered if you had come across this new website 'Charles Dickens on Screen', run by author Fred Guida, who wrote the book 'A Christmas Carol and Its Adaptations: Dickens’s Story on Screen and Television'.

PS, the Guardian newspaper in the UK has just run an article by Robert Douglas-Fairhurst headlined "Dickens on screen: the highs and the lows", as part of their series of articles on "Dickens at 200". Very interesting!

Thank you, Judy! I'll try to post about both of those very soon. Hope you enjoy the miniseries!

Gina, wondered if you've seen "Bleak Old Shop of Stuff" yet? Just came across it on Youtube

No, I hadn't yet. Thank you!
