The Telegraph has interviews with the major players from the GE miniseries, including the writer, production designer, and several of the leading actors. They've also got new on-set photos of Douglas Booth and Ray Winstone.
Among the revelations:
- The Aged P. has been cut out to save time, alas. Something that screenwriter Sarah Phelps said also makes me think that my beloved Wopsle-as-Hamlet scene has also been cut out.
- The miniseries begins airing on BBC One on December 27.
- The DVD will be available January 9, but, I believe, only as a Region 2 DVD. I expect we Americans won't get a Region 1 DVD until after PBS airs the miniseries in April.
