I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting Gerald Dickens and seeing him perform "Dr. Marigold" at Dickens Universe a few years ago. Not only is he a charming man, he is an excellent actor. I only wish I could attend this performance, because I'm sure it does honor to Dickens the man and his descendant. I can only hope that he will perform it elsewhere....
