PBS has a nice deal going on right now: Buy any DVD or Blu-ray from this page on their website, and get 15 percent off plus -- if you spend $40 or more -- a free DVD of Oliver Twist. This would be the 1999 ITV version. I've never seen it, but at the very least, it sounds like an excellent opportunity to play Spot the British Actor. It features not only Keira Knightley as Rose and Julie Walters as Mrs. Mann, but also three familiar faces from Little Dorrit (that is, I counted three on the IMDb page -- I may have missed some): Andy Serkis, Annette Crosbie, and Alun Armstrong. I thought there were four at first -- thanks to Valancy for pointing out that I was getting Sophia Myles and Eve Myles mixed up!
The PBS offer ends June 1.
Wait, what's this about Sophia Myles being in LD? I'm sure I'd have noticed if she was!
Oh hang on - do you mean Eve Myles?

Oops! You're right. I blew it -- thus demonstrating my strictly amateur status at Spot the British Actor. I'll make the correction.

Alun Armstrong was in BBC 1999's David Copperfield. Julie Walters is supposed to be in the upcoming DC film as Aunt Betsey, too. (BTW, that film has been categorized under drama, period film, and children/family. Just so you know. :) )
