Hey Gina! I'm aware that by now this is a seriously vintage post but I just wanted to say that your coverage of the Little Dorrit mini series got me addicted to your blog. I started watching the series and it was so good that I knew I had to read the book. Then, I got an assignment from my English teacher to pick a book and make a blog about it, so I chose Little Dorrit. If you want to check it out, it's at I also wanted to share some of my thoughts on the series and the book but I think they're too long because I keep getting a message saying the site won't accept it (I've never been a good self-editor). I might try again later. Thanks again for creating such a fascinating blog for all of us literature dorks out there (I mean that affectionately =D). Have a great day!

Sorry! I was trying for the longest time to post that after your Little Dorrit Part Five post (hence the vintage post reference) but it wasn't working no matter how much I cut it down. Finally, as a last ditch effort, I chose another post out of frustration, pasted my comment in, and hit post without thinking. And it decided to work then. So that's why my comment refers to Little Dorrit when this post is about A Tale of Two Cities (which I also love). I thought it warranted explanation. :-)

How odd! Sorry you had so much trouble; I don't know what could have caused it. Just TypePad being weird again, I suppose. But thank you for persisting. :-) Your comment means a lot to me.

Let me know if there's any way I can help you add your thoughts on the series and the book. I'm not much of a techie, but I'll do what I can.

I'll be adding your site to the blogroll later today!

Ah, dear Sydney Carton! I think this is the most triumphant, magnificent ending of any book I have ever read. It makes me cry just about every time, and it's a happy, proud, enthralled sort of crying.
