Variety has a short article up about Little Dorrit. There are a few points of interest in the piece -- such as the fact that there will be more BBC adaptations coming in time for the Dickens bicentennial -- but the really cool thing about it is that it's part of their "Road to the Emmys" series. The Emmy nominations come out July 16, and obviously someone thinks Little Dorrit deserves some. Let's hope the voters agree!
(To Nibs: Still haven't come up with my David Copperfield LOLZ yet, but hang in there -- I'll think of something. I LOVE yours!)
More adaptations?! *hopes for A Tale of Two Cities*

I was thinking that too - there hasn't been an ATOTC adaptation since the 1980s! I think they're probably going to remake the other 10+ year old adaptations too; I bet they'll do Pickwick (as it was Dickens' first book), OMF (Dickens' last and also great feed for Andrew Davies), and maybe Great Expectations or David Copperfield. But 3 years seems a long way away! Maybe they'll space them out.
Whenever someone says the world is going to end in 2012, I seriously think "wait, it can't, I have to be alive for Dickens' bicentennial!" :P
