Yay. Something to look forward to.
I'm being sarcastic. Gee whiz, how much more brainless can you get?!

"Say it ain't so, Gina!" Call me old-fashioned, but I just have no interest in reading something that tinkers with an author's book (especially, for Heaven's sakes, Austen), no matter the ratio of original text to new. I have not read "P&P&Z", nor shall I read "S&S&SM's". And, horror of horrors if someone decides they need to "adapt" a Dickens novel into a horror novel...Oh, the horror, the horror...

What people will waste their hard-earned money on these days...

Hey Gina, don't take me up on this because I'm just toying with the idea, but if I started a Dickens forum/message board would you be interested in joining? I'm sure you're busy enough with Dickens just keeping this blog, but I want to know if anyone would actually join if I started it. Let me know! :)

Sure, I'd be happy to join!
