More on Eastwood, Damon, and Dickens

Sabrina wrote to ask if the Clint Eastwood movie I mentioned yesterday, Hereafter, has anything to do with Dickens, besides having a scene filmed outside the Dickens Museum. I did a bit of searching and found this on a booklovers' forum:

. . . The George (Matt Damon) character has a passionate interest in Charles Dickens. It’s an obsession with an audio recording of Little Dorrit by a ‘famous Shakespearean actor’ (yet to be cast) that compels George to visit London - when he hears that the same actor will be reading from Little Dorrit at the Book Fair.

Cool! We'll have to keep an eye on this one!
