What a cool contest! Too bad it's only for Boston... I'm terrible at writing songs, though, so maybe it's just as well. :P

I know this is not related to your entry, but I thought you might like to know and/or post about a Dickens event. "Dickens on the Strand" is next weekend in Galveston, TX (I'm going!!). Here is the website:

Katie, that sounds wonderful! Are you going to dress up?

The husband and I are thinking about it. If we do, we will go as members of the working class poor.

We would LOVE to have some photos if you do. Or even a guest post about the experience, if you're willing to write one -- that would be amazing! It could be as short or as long as you want. If you're interested, let me know and I'll contact you.

I would love to do a guest post about Dickens on the Strand! I have my camera and notebook ready to record our experiences.

Do you need my email address or do you see it when we post comments?

That's terrific, Katie! Looking forward to it.

I can see your e-mail in TypePad. I'll contact you so that you'll know where to send the post when it's ready.
