This is one of those rare Wish-I-Had-Facebook moments. ;) I predict Holmes vs Poirot, with Poirot winning only because those adaptations are more recent than the Jeremy Brett series. But getting back on topic...I much prefer Copperfield over Deronda.

Update: David won that round, but now he's losing to Edward Ferrars from "Sense and Sensibility." If you're on Facebook, go vote!!

I confess I voted for Edward... And I'd vote for Holmes over Poirot, though I love Poirot. But is it the Jeremy Brett Holmes or the most recent Benedict Cumberbatch Holmes? I was thinking it's the most recent, but I'm not sure.
Ah, yes, I just looked. It's the Cumberbatch Holmes, not the Brett. I think I would vote for him over any of the other characters, even dear Miss Elizabeth Bennet.

It seems like the votes are supposed to be for characters, not portrayals...though it doesn't really say. :)

The Facebook PBS voting thingie gives very definite actors and portrayals for them.
