For the Great Expectations miniseries:
- Variety states that David Suchet will play Mr. Jaggers.
- Those of you who've been wanting to see Dickens's descendant Harry Lloyd in another Dickens adaptation have got your wish! The IMDb page lists him as Herbert Pocket.
- Also according to IMDb, Vanessa Kirby is Estella. She's an award-winning 19-year-old stage actress who was recently named one of "London's stars of the future." And Izzy Meikle-Small is young Estella. If you saw the excellent film adaptation of Never Let Me Go a year or two ago, you'll have seen her as young Kathy.
- And finally, the ScreenTerrier blog reports that Oscar Kennedy, who has done a couple of British TV roles, will play young Pip.
