Geraldine McEwan passed away this weekend. The 82-year-old actress, perhaps best known in the United States for playing Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, also had a Dickensian credit to her name. She once played Miss Havisham in a BBC Radio dramatization of Great Expectations.
