As you'd expect, the closer the premiere gets, the more news is out there! (There are some spoilers -- most of them minor ones, I think -- at the following links, so proceed at your own risk!)
Here's a video interview with Sophie Rundle (Honoria Barbary, a.k.a. Lady Dedlock) and Tuppence Middleton (Miss Havisham). Here's a print interview with Caroline Quentin (Mrs. Bumble). Here's a new interview with show creator Tony Jordan, in which he expands on some of the things he's done with the plot and characters.
Here, from the site Willow and Thatch, is a great piece including descriptions of the first two episodes, quotes from some of the show's creators and actors, and a plan of the set.
And here and here, from The List and Victorian is the New Black, respectively, are the first reviews!
Thanks to John, one of our British readers, for helping me collect these articles. He has kindly agreed to send his impressions of the first two episodes when they air, for me to use as a guest post. As for us poor Americans, we still don't know when we're getting the show over here. I contacted BBC America but was told they don't know yet.
I'm aware that there are ways to watch British shows in America that aren't strictly legal. Obviously I have no power to ask anyone here not to use these means, and I don't mind if, having used them, you come here to talk about what you've seen, but I would ask you not to post any links here. I'd prefer to keep this blog on the right side of the law if at all possible. :-)
