"Surprises," indeed! - Still, to each his own.

I've tried ranking his novels but I can never seem to limit myself to just ten. I always have to include them all. And the order mysteriously changes depending on which one I happen to be rereading at the time.

The only constants being; Great Expectations is always number one, and Barnaby Rudge, fifteen.
