Dolly Parton's 'Christmas Carol'

Legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton has given Dickens's story an Appalachian Twist in her new musical, Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol, which is currently running at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theater. Billboard interviewed Parton about why she chose this story to adapt and why she found it so relatable.
